UK Charts: GTA 5 Destroys All Competition

UK Charts: GTA 5 Destroys All Competition
Grand Theft Auto 5

Well, this is just as well then. Last week I stated that if GTA V was not sitting atop the UK All Formats Games Chart this week that (and I Quote) I'd "eat my face". So I'm perfectly happy (and not in the least bit surprised) to report that no face-consumption will be required on my part. Unless you've been living under a rock, you'll have heard about GTA V's record shattering success, and it's no less true in the game's home country of the UK.  Let's take a little look at the records it's broken here so far...

It has become the fastest selling game of all time in Britain, and after just 5 days on sale, was already number 24th in the best selling games of all time. It's first week sales also beat the launch-week of all the other GTA games put together.  Take Two also claim it's the "biggest entertainment launch of all time". Of course, thanks to their respective prices, games and movies/books/albums aren't really directly comparable, but let's not let a little thing like logic get in the way of marketing, eh?

Elsewhere we've seen a great start for new entries. Pro Evolution Soccer 2014, and Harvest Moon 3D. Also seeing a boost this week is Farming Simulator 2013, which (hilariously) became the subject of a running joke on satirical BBC comedy panel show Mock The Week, even reportedly selling out at Amazon. Full chart follows.

about this, like you wrte the book in it or something.
I think that you could do with some pics to drive the message home a bit, but instead
